The left hand side is handwritten text written in green ink. It reads: Qualities of a dream Intense, painful, acute emotions Anxiety, fear & surprise Discontinuities, ambiguities and Inconsistency Don’t observe any natural laws involving time, place and people. Illogical dream content. Dream content is accepted without question Strange sensory experiences Memory intensified within dream context; access to the dream diminishes rapidly once the dreamer awakes Impossible collages of existing reality / If we shadows have offended, think but this and all is mended, that you have but slumbered here, while these visions did appear. And this week and idle theme, no more yielding that a dream. Gentles do not reprehend if you pardon we will med. Now to scape the serpents tongue we will make amends ere long, else the puck a liar call so goodnight unto you all. Give me your hands if we be friends and robin shall restore amends. - Puck’s Final speech, A Midsummer Nights Dream, William Shakespeare. / The right hand page has “to sleep, perchance to dream’ written in green ink along the top. A black egg shape with a feminine eye peeking out from a gap near the top obscures a vibrant background of white dots on black, red floral shapes and yellow lines. A red/pink girls with rabbit ears pokes out from behind the top of the egg/ A line drawing of a woman with a yellow crown can be seen toward the bottom.
